<p>My background is Middle Eastern/Persian, but on most applications middle eastern is just considered white. I know a lot of schools like to add diversity, is there any way of adding that to my application? Im planning on sending them a list of my extracurriculars and work experience to most of my schools, should I add something like "Decent: Persian"?</p>

<p>There should be an option for “other.”</p>
<p>Theres no option for other on the applications.
Also as a transfer these colleges dont ask for essays.</p>
<p>If you are going to add it, you might want to spell it “descent” vs “decent”.</p>
<p>On the common app, under the check box for “white”, there should be a brief line where you can put your specific background.</p>
