I have a .8xp file that I want to put on my ti-84. I have a usb cable. How do add the program to the calculator?

Drag and drop?

Haha well that's how most USB devices would work :)

1) Connect your calculator to a USB port. Turn it on and make sure the cable is securely connected.
2) Download TI Connect from the Texas Instruments website.
3) Open up the .8xp file in Winzip or Winrar.
4) Click on "TI DeviceExplorer" in TI Connect.
5) Select your calculator on the window that pops up.
6) Drag the .8xp file from Winzip\Winrar into the window that shows all the files in your calculator.

^ Yes!

He be right l0l :o

ok, I have Ti-connect but now its not detecting the ti-84 device. I have tried connecting it to 2 different usb ports and I have made sure it is on, but it still says "cannot find device." I also do not see it listed with my other devices in my computer.

edit: my computer even says "found new hardware" and attempts to search for drivers, which it doesn't find. Then i open ti-connect and it doesn't detect the device.
