Any film production students/parents out there? It seems as if most production classes come with an additional $300 fee on top of tuition (or fee TBD). Was not aware of this til now. Do students take 4 courses per semester? That could be an additional $1,200 per semester? Is this what you’re paying?

Yes, that is a common “lab fee” for production courses (and things like thesis are higher) to pay for equipment, software, etc. But usually you don’t have 4 production courses a semester because you are also taking GE or theory/history/whatever courses at the same time so it’s usually about half that until thesis. Senior year you can count on at least $1000 a semester because of thesis
