My school is also part of the NSMI grant, which translates to $300 for me when my four exams only cost $200! (The fourth exam was US History - not covered in the grant.)

My friends’ teacher gave extra credit to people just for taking the test. Like more points than their final…

Well Ch1ck3nPotPi3, I suppose the extra money just isn’t incentive enough for my history teacher to actually teach. All we did all year was dumb projects that don’t help anyone learn. example: a month spent on making a 1920s infomercial.
At least I had the discipline to study on my own…

None whatsoever.

***??? 100 bucks per AP exam, that is rediculous. wow, so jealous. If I were you guys I would just self study everything you can get your hands on, getting a 3 doesn’t require more than a small bit of knowledge and knowing how to guess.

At my school the only incentive is our calc teacher takes everyone who got a 5 out to the local steakhouse(can’t wait :))

wtb NSMI, all I took were math and math based sciences…

Time to tell my teachers to step it up on the rewards. I’ve only even gotten a pat on the back once.
