I am a senior this year and have turned in some of my applications so far this year. Looking to major in Business, more then likely specialize in Finance but that could change. I have a 3.4 UW and 3.6 W. Took two courses at CC and got A's in both. Involved in many EC's and leadership positions. SAT is 1830 super scored. Top 20% of graduating class. Took AP Language, AP Us History junior year and taking AP Psych, AP Government/Politics, AP Literature senior year.

Applied to SDSU, UofA, Loyola Marymount, Santa Clara so far. Any other ideas? Looking for a good reputable business program and a nice college environment. Big or small is not a huge factor. Would like to stay out West but willing to go to SE if its the right school.

If you want to suck up your pride, you could go to a California community college, then transfer to Berkeley's Haas school of business...just make sure you fulfill all the prerequisites. Undergraduate Program - Admissions - Haas School of Business

If you go the community college route and don't get into Haas, you could also apply to USC or UCLA.

These would be the best options for finance.

Thanks. Reason I was not considering UCSD is because they dont have Business. Also UCI's business program is new, and doesn't have a reputation yet. What do you guys think? Any other schools back east that would really stand out for business and I could maybe get into them.

Any other opinions on the best undergrad business school/program I could get into with my stats. I would be willing to go almost anywhere to get the best education. I realize whats limiting me from getting into super good business schools is my stats.

University of Denver has a great business program in a fabulous city, lots of internship opportunities, very nice campus with a real campus life, small classes
