I just wrote an essay I want to send to Columbia along with a note correcting something else in my application. Columbia only required one essay, will they be annoyed if I send them this other one? I'm also considering sending it to Dartmouth and Harvard. Dartmouth also only required one essay, whereas Harvard had two.

Do you think it's a bad idea to send this new essay?

if you can't do it online, babybird, maybe you could call and ask if you could email it to save them some trouble, in the form of a word file or pdf just like they get from the online app? And then they could say, with the same phone call, if they'd object to an extra essay. Did they ever say that an email isn't in writing? They want changes "in writing". . . .

does anyone know the email? I'm having a problem loading my essays on to the online application, and was going to send it through snail mail. I want to let them know though, that I'm having a problem.

lol, i had a choir practice, sorry to keep you guys waiting

i didn't email them, i just called. they said sending it by mail is fine too. they were pretty nice. but I was on hold, so I was just about to eat a caramel when the guy came on the line! so what did I do, I just spit it into my hand and was like "Yeah, I'm a prospective undergrad for etc etc" it was sooo funny

ehhh i added mad crap..like things im doing that i couldnt show in the app..if they read they read it..if they dont..welll what ya know..they dont..:
