Additional Info After Sending In Application

So a team and I are currently submitting a couple of things: some to become a patent, and some for research publications. It might not be accepted before the early/regular deadlines so I can’t really say I published a paper.

Can I tell them after I send in my app and be like:“Hey school, just a quick update, I published a paper”, if so how?
Can you do this for regular decision schools and early schools?

Does telling them midway through the application process make a significant difference? I know saying that you published a paper (with significant contribution on your part) looks good but does it look as good if you tell them midway?

Thanks

Bump.

Yes you can send a note with updates to your application (once it’s actually occurred, not this is my plan or we’re waiting for approval).
