I am having trouble deciding what I should put here. My guidance counselor is submitting my resume along with all of my transcripts and such directly to the college, so I cannot put my resume there.
My resume only has a list of my activities and does not say why I am interested in them or anything like that. I tried to say why I was interested in that activity in the common app activities section but there was so little room that I really couldn't.

Should I submit a list of activities with descriptions of each thing/why I like doing it in the Additional Info section, or would having a resume and the list be overkill? Should I post a new essay? PLEASE GIVE ME SOME GUIDANCE :)

You know you don’t have to use it if you don’t want to right?

DONT USE IT if you are just going to be repeating the same information they already have from the rest of your app, frankly, I dont even think sending resumes is a good idea unless it tells a significant amount of different things from your activities section. If you already sent a resume (through your counselor) dont put anything in the additional info section. You cannot post an essay there, thats like not allowed.

It seems the only reason you would want to use it would be if you have a class/semester where you got a grade that was much worse than all of your others, ONLY IF there is a good reason to be explained, like you were sick long term, a family member died, etc. A good reason is NOT the teacher was bad or the class was too hard.

Phewwww! Thank you so much! My grades are totally not a problem (my SAT scores on the other hand…) but now i dont think that I will put anything there.
