<p>You can put pretty much whatever you want, as long it expands their picture of you.</p>
<p>FYI, your common app is not locked now. They changed the procedure, so all you need to do is look at the instructions for how to make an "alternate" version of the original app.</p>
<p>Some people use the additional info section to explain something in their background, attach a resume or expanded version of the activity list, or to provide a short essay if there's something else they want the college to know about them. This section is not a substitute for the main common app essay, though, and if your college has a supplement with essay questions, they probably won't need to see more.</p>
