Is it better to use the Additional Info section of the Common App for additional awards or to leave that section blank and upload a resume instead (as part of the Princeton Supplement)?
I used my Additional Info section to elaborate on some of the key parts of my application that I felt weren’t given adequate treatment elsewhere in the form. That meant going more in-depth on some of the awards I’d won, and offering fuller explanations of my primary extracurriculars. My college counselor specifically instructed me not to use it for a resume, but still to take advantage of it if I felt it necessary. I also added a VERY short paragraph expanding on my academic interests and why I wanted to pursue them at Princeton.
I was accepted SCEA.
