So, the additional info section=list of awards, things, etc. that you weren't able to fit elsewhere on the common app right?

It would be inappropriate to put another essay in there?

Yes.

Yes.

I think it's also a good place to give us a sentence or two about a scheduling conflict that might have affected your senior program.

So would this be the place to put an expanded chart of extracurricular activities, including awards which would not fit?

Like a Common-App style resume?

Yes, Cato, but for the sake of admission officers everywhere, keep it reasonable and don't attach a term paper sized document.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have a related question.

I may be splitting hairs here, but if we're submitting via the online Common App and plan to attach a resume, should we write something in the Additional Info section along the lines of, "Attached is my resume..." etc.? Or will the admissions officer see that there is a resume attached to the application?

^No, I think you can just attach it without mentioning anything.

Modulation is right. We know what a resume looks like. :)

Thank you. I just wasn't sure how the application appears to the admissions officer, like if they know that something is attached at the end for them to look at. :-)
