Instead of uploading some type of resume, is it acceptable to simply upload a neatly organized document that states my additional information? For example, I wouldn't use a resume format, I would just state the category and then elaborate on the activity or job.

dude i was wondering the same thing!!! ugh im so confused. i was thinking to make a chart with my activites and put my years involved, role, and a description or something…but i wasnt sure if that was acceptable or not!

Exactly. I’m not that important of a human being to attach a resume, but I just want to attach a document that expands on my accomplishments.

I have the same predicament. There are a bunch of odd things I am involved with at school that don’t really fit into the EC spots, but I don’t think it’s resume worthy.

If you do attach a resume, are you supposed to repeat the stuff already in the common app? Or do you just include the stuff that didn’t fit there?

ha looks like we are all on the same boat! well mvmanno, i think you could repeat, but i think there on the app to describe what the EC is, but if its not enough then just put it on your resume again and describe it their.

I’m pretty sure that’s what you’re supposed to do. Resumes are just for the people who want extra fluff.

Okay, so leaving the online text box blank and attaching an informal, yet neatly organized Additional Information document is acceptable?

Anything’s acceptable, as long as you follow all laws and all instructions given by the Common App and the school.
