Additional information section of common app

What should I upload for this section? A one-page resume? If I am the editor-in-chief of a publication, should I upload a copy of it even if I wrote about it in the essays?

Does anyone know the answer to this?

my D1 uploaded a resume

Anyone else? Two of the schools are ivy league.

If there’s a LOT that couldn’t fit on the common app (awards, distinctions, extracurriculars) that are all important, then upload a resume.

But if there’s really nothing that important to add apart from what’s already on the app then you shouldn’t just be repetitive and add a resume for no reason.

But would it be ok to upload a 64 page document? I publish a scientific publication and would like to upload it if possible.

Do NOT send them an entire publication. That will likely only serve to pish (dang censorship! ;P) them off.

It is not a research report, it is a sample copy of a publication that I am Editor-in Chief of. So I should not upload this?

Maybe send a little summary of it? Like half a page to a page? Any more than that is probably too excessive.

Actually, I heard you can upload 3-4 pages with no sweat. A lot of kids do with resumes, activities charts, publications, etc. So, OP, I’d say go for it–but maybe create a cover page and some snippets of the document, totaling around 3-4 pages?

Yes, I agree he should include something about it (I think my additional info is around 3 pages), but in no way should the OP include all 64 pages.

So is mentioning it in the essays enough, or should I maybe include a link to my publication’s homepage in the additional info section?
