Additional Information section?

Hello,
I am thinking of putting in my summer course (non credit) that I did this year as well as an opportunity I had when the professor of my summer course chose my work to be published in his project. Do you think these should go into my additional information section?

To those of you are already done with common app and wrote something in that section, what did you put?

In the additional information section, I think that you can basically write in anything important that you couldn’t fit into any other part of your application.

Thank you for your answer.

Anyone else, what did you put in your additional info section?

Our D’s additional info section includes brief paragraphs about an unusual award and several activities related to that award, all of which are completely outside of school, unusual and require more description than the honors and activities section would allow.

I’m probably going to elaborate on something I didn’t get to describe thoroughly in another area, like an activity or course. I haven’t quite decided yet though.

If you don’t have anything to elaborate on though, you could include something new that you weren’t able to communicate through the rest of the app. Just as long as it’s not irrelevant, haha :)
