'Additional Information'

So, on my transfer application, I'm thinking about adding a document for the "Additional Information" section, where I talk about my academic performance from 11th and 12th grade. I didn't do so well those years and I had a downward trend. In my Additional Info thing, I basically say that I wasn't very inspired in school, but that my first semester of college (in which I did do pretty well) is a much better reflection of me as a student and that I am a much more inspired and motivated person.

Is it a good idea to include this? I'm not sure.

No matter what you when you present yourself to others in life, downplay the negatives and upplay the positives.

If you do decide to write a paragraph, talk about how going to college really inspired you so much more than HS without saying that you were uninspired before. Give examples of situations now and how they excite you.
