<p>For many schools I am applying to, there is a question that asks for any "additional information" about me or "something you want us to know." The question is optional. Would it be beneficial for me to answer this question or is it okay to leave it blank?</p>
<p>If you have additional info to add on your application that you didn’t put in during your essays and profile, then put in in the additional information section. And if you said something in your interview that you feel like you need to follow up on, put it there as well. Otherwise, if you’ve won any awards during the time that you’ve submitted your applicant profile and now, put that there.</p>
How much is too much additional information? I have 519 words and three paragraphs right now… probably too much, but I don’t want to leave anything out! 
I feel like the admissions officers are just going to be sitting there reading it like “Who is this kid… why won’t he shut up already!” 
Haha I doubt that @BoyZap2122 They give you that section for a reason. 
If you feel like it’s essential information that you haven’t mentioned in the other sections go for it. Just keep in mind that the AOs will be reading a large amount of essays in a short period of time. If you overdo it, the section just might count against you. Good luck!
Never leave an optional opportunity to provide information blank. It suggests that you could not bother, are unlikely to go the extra mile and have little to say about yourself.
