Additional Information

I talked to my guidance councelor, and he suggested i submit two essays. ( i have two Personal statements and cant choose between them cuz they say such completely diff things about me.)
anyway, i was unsure so i talked to the other guidance councelor and she said, it would fine to put it in the additional information box.
from what ive read on CC, i'm not too sure a second essay would be taken too well by colleges (since they also require supps) but then at the same time my gc said that if they want more info i have provided it to them and if they dont want it they wont use it..

so should i go ahead and do it?

That is a very elastic interpretation of what the Additional Information section is intended for. Risky.

I don't think you should do it unless the college asks for more info in its supplement. Do you really think that admissions officers will want to double their work?

mmm yeah thats true! thanks!

AAAAH!

what do people put in their additional info boxes then?! like resumes?

Do guidance counselors need to send students' resumes to colleges the students are applying to? How many pages are your resume in general?

No. They only need to send transcripts and fill out the School Report form.

Resumes are okay for Add. Info section.

How many pages are your resume in general when you put them in additional info section?

Do you elaborate your awards and activities on your resume even if they are mentioned briefly on common application?
