What do you think would be better?:

a. I include a very informal resume briefly explaining each of my activities from junior year of high school to freshman year of college and the academic/ co-curricular awards I have received since then.

b. I include an additional "Why X University" essay that will be about 250-300 words.

For the Common Application supplement, I already submitted a 350-400 word "Why X University" essay but from a purely academic side. I discussed how that institution could better foster my aspirations in the natural sciences, Economics, liberal arts education, etc.

In this additional information essay, I would include a much more personal side talking about the student life at this university and how I feel like I could completely immerse myself into the campus environment by detailing what I loved about the institution from my four-day visit earlier this school year. This will be about social aspects, personal development, and co-curricular activities specific to this institution, no academics as that was covered in the other essay already. I don't know if two separate but equally strong "Why X University" essays would be appropriate.
