<p>I submitted a letter of rec to Barnard and Pitzer from a woman I've interned for, and on CommonApp it says it's been started. The woman who wrote the letter said that the only option she's given is to 'save', not 'submit'. I called Pitzer and she told me they can't check if it's been received as they're receiving hundreds of letters which take hours to download. Is it possible that it's the school/common app's problem? if anyone's written a letter of rec, is there an option for submitting, and do you receive a confirmation email? Thanks!</p>
<p>the optional recommender should be able to submit his/her rec letter…my additional recommender was able to submit! maybe email the common app and let them know what’s going on! you don’t receive a confirmation email though.</p>
