<p>I had someone write me an additional rec and send it to Princeton, but I'm not sure if they've added it to my application. How would I go about making sure they have?</p>
<p>You can’t. Your status page (showing all the materials that Princeton has received from you) won’t show these extra materials but they’ll be added to your file. All you can do is keep your fingers crossed. In the worst case scenario, your rec might go missing, but it’s not supposed to play a significant role in your admissions decision anyway…</p>

<p>I was wondering the same thing since my additional rec was sent in almost a month ago. I hope they’ve gotten it.</p>
<p>It won’t show up automatically on the tracking thing, but I’m pretty sure you could confirm with an email to the admissions office. I did this for MIT and got a pretty fast response.</p>
