<p>I have gone through both Direct Hits books and most of Princeton's 1000 words. Are there any other books that would be helpful? </p>

<p>I would have to say that there is significant overlap between The Essential 500 Words and the Direct Hits books (5th edition).</p>
<p>@FlyingWombat The Essential 500 has more words and still has a better hit rate than Direct Hits on SAT vocab sections</p>
