I have recently been admitted to Stanford and was reading through the acceptance letter when I noticed that it mentioned our admission was contingent on our grades. Then I noticed that Stanford does both a mid-term and final grade check. My question is just how much it would take to get your admission withdrawn, or if you even can? Has anyone ever heard of that? I am a straight A student and am in danger of recieving a B, possibly a couple of them. I know this sounds a bit much to be worrying about and I realize that it is probably unlikely that they with withdraw my admission based off of a couple B's, but I'd much rather be safe than sorry. If anyone could shed some light onto this issue for me that would be greatly appreciated.

I think what I meant was revoked rather than withdrawn haha. Just thought I should specify that in case anyone was wondering.

look at the other thread about this

Yeah a couple of Bs are fine I think.

let’s put it this way, last year nobody got their admission revoked. Only four kids, who failed one or more of their classes, had to repeat their senior year but then were guaranteed admission the next year (so our year).

i was worrying about this a tiny bit but i’m not even worried anymore.
Plus, i’m not actually that in danger of a B! haha, i’m going to fail the ap exams though.

i got accepted too btw early. See you next year :D

Make sure you find out which AP credits Stanford accepts and take only those tests.

For me, I’m in 6 AP classes but I’m only taking Chem and Calculus because that’s all Stanford takes (I need a 5 on chem, and a 4 for 10 credits and 3 for 5 credits of Calculus)

yeah i realized that too. I’m taking 6 classes as well but only Calc will be accepted. I might take econ because when i asked my teacher if he would be personally offended if i didnt take it, he said yes & almost begged me to take it. (for some reason, he thinks im going to raise his average. haha NOT)
