Help Pleaseeeee!!!!!!!
thankkyou so so muchhh!!!!

I’m not 100% sure. But I’m having a college counselor write my additional rec and she is going to send it with the Secondary School Report. There is no specific evaluation form for the additional letters of rec (to the best of my knowledge) so they can talk about whatever, basically. But it is recommended to stress something different about you than the other two letters.

I have two additional rec letters. Both are informal and do not need to follow the teacher rec guidelines. They are very flexible and the writing style can be anything as long as it paints a more holistic picture of you.

You just send it via mail and make sure to include your name and birthday so they can match it up with your folder.

Just read Matt’s blog on MIT website of the MIT FAQ by Mollie

thankkyouuuu!!!

Hey wait… what is the maximum number of recommendations you can submit?

There’s no explicit maximum, but each letter should say something unique about you. I can’t imagine there’s a need for most applicants to send more than one or possibly two extra recs.

The inimitable Bryan Nance (former MIT admissions officer) once said on his blog ([here](http://www.mitadmissions.org/topics/apply/the_freshman_application/ive_got_99_problems_admissions.shtml)):
