<p>Can anyone tell me about Adelphi U?
Anyone who goes there or knows people who go there?</p>

<p>Really, ANY feedback regarding this school would be appreciated.</p>

<p>Well I don't really think that affects the student body so much, more the school board and all of the politics that go on behind-the-scenes.
I could be wrong but I'm still going to consider the school.</p>

<p>It's a pretty good school, they have a 'great books' style program for underclassmen that's been favorably reviewed by critics. Some name recognition in the NYC metro area, probably underrated is my guess.</p>

I am really looking into this school but won't be able to visit the campus until the springtime. Apparently the campus is great, but some say the social scene there is not. I'm not looking for a total party school, but I've just heard that socially, it's not that great...I think its 70% women or something?</p>

<p>i never really liked Adelphi's campus.</p>

<p>if your looking for a Long Island school I'd recommend Hofstra > Adelphi.</p>
