Adios Cornell

i just wanted to take this opportunity to let the cornell board that i am officially not returning to cornell

thanks for the memories

What school are u transferring to?

Yay! Congratulations bball87!
I wish you so much luck and happiness. You worked so hard this year, and it paid off! I hope you visit this board every now and then... you always made the discussions lively! Will you be attending Northwestern? Have you heard from Penn yet?

either Wash U, Rice, U of Chicago, Northwestern, Duke or Columbia (waitlist)

still haven't heard from Upenn yet

if you dont mind me asking, what made cornell so bad for you?

academically, i thrived, no joke, my second semester is around a 3.95, official grades haven't come out yet, but i know all of my grades already, except for one

it was really the lack of a city, but Cornell is a great school, and anyone attending should feel priviledged to be attending

it just wasn't the right fit for me, and small things that happened to me made my experience at cornell at times unenjoyable.

Good luck w/ whatever school you decide on. You have some fantastic choices.

What are you majoring in?

congrats, sorry to see you go, but it looks like you are faced with a lot of good options. It'll probably be kind of cool to experience two different colleges.

peace + characters.

Not to pry, but did you get rejected from anywhere? You seem like a perfect transfer candidate (although I don't know anything past your gpa and that you attended Cornell lol). Best of luck where you decide to go!!!

yeah---i got REJECTED BY BROWN....go figure...only rejection

Wow that's insane! By looking at your college options I do see a different atmosphere in them as compared to that of Brown, so maybe they read into that...their loss tho!

wow, a 3.95 gpa. that is pretty insane? did you work your a@@ off?

Congrats bball87. Hope you have a good time wherever you go.

congrats, but we'll miss your animosity on this board ;) good luck with everything. keep us posted on how you like your new school. do you have a leaning yet as to which you will attend?

Sparty,

Good to have you back...you were missing in action there for awhile...I guess initiation and exams took away CC procrastination time....all in all did the first year Far Above Cayuga's Waters live up to your expectations?

Wharf

PS - Good luck to Bball! May you find peace and satisfaction at your new school. I guarantee that on some level you're going to miss the sound of rushing waterfalls :)

Wash U really has no respect by any of the ivy leagues..they all know that they manipulate US News.go to wash u and see how mad you get when you are an alum and no one knows what the hell that school is

who said i am going to wash u??

i highly doubt it....

its more between Duke, Northwestern, and U of Chicago at the moment
