Admission acceptance

still nothing for me… is this normal? i applied on like the third day of october… sigh

My neighbor didn’t make it.

On his WebPortal it said that there were “61,800 applications but only 6,158 new enrollee spaces available.” They added that “the Eligibility Index was 4232, the average GPA was 3.82 and SAT (Critical Reading + Math) was 1175.”
His stats: 3.71, SAT (CR + M) 1270.

I’m banking on the word “average.”

The wait is killing me!

Accepted!

CC GPA: 3.65
Major: Public Relations

^Petiza,

3.82 gpa is definitely an “average”. My son got in and his gpa was only 3.55 w. Good luck!

Didn’t make it, but I got a waiting list option. Do I have any chance of still getting in? Or does that mean probably not?

does anyone want to have an acceptance party??? :D

Accepted :)

GPA- ~3.7
SAT- 1370/2020
Major- Linguistics

is it normal that i did not get any response yet? my application still says “pending”. plus, i applied on October 3rd… =(

When it comes to diversity SDSU is way ahead. Employers are looking for candidates who are culturally competent. People who are accustomed to working with people with different backgrounds are the strongest leaders of the future.

rejected
GPA 3.7
SAT 1840
Major: Business
No intentions of going since I got into a couple UCs and I’m likely going to a private college. Still baffled that I didnt get in.

Do you guys think that SDSU could rival the middle of the road UCs, such as UCI, UCD, and UCSB? Is SDSU on the same ground as UCI is, in terms of academics, job placement, prestige, etc.?

@trojanman10101, not really even though SDSU is one of the best for business.

Yeah thnx for your input, I was just pondering aloud.

Accepted
I have a 3.47 GPA,
and 2010 SAT score (740 CR, 550 Math, 64 Writing)
I have lots of Extra Curriculars, president of book club, lots of other clubs, service hours, out of school activities, but no sports

People said that it was hard to get into this year, but 40 of my classmates applied, and 30 got in. THose 30 were probably at the bottom of my class since SDSU is used mostly as a backup school for everyone I know.

I would think that SDSU is a better business school, though if you wanted one in San Diego, USD would have been the best. I think UCR is better in sciences? though don’t quote me on this. ;)

Accepted on March 1st!
communications major
GPA: 3.68
SAT: 700 W 540 CR 550 M

I’m from LA County =]

Still waiting… and i’m a first time freshman. -_- My decision is still pending.

anyone know how many students got waitlisted option?? %??
