i sent one to cornell... do you think theyll reply? i sent it over a month ago... so i assume they ignored it.

I sent them one a month ago as well. Besides, I also sent one to an admission counselor. He replied me that Cornell doesn't have an appeal process; if you really want to go to Cornell, you could trasfer after your first year at another institution.

when did he reply? and what did you write to them?

I sent them an appeal letter for CAS admission early April. Since I didn't get any responses from them, I emailed him late April, asking why they didn't reply me after I sent them an one-and-half-page letter. I also asked him if they would make a decision after May 1st. But, he replied me that they wouldn't reevaluate applications unless there's a HUGE mistake.

I don't think they would officially send us a reply because as they said before, they don't have appeal process, so they may just ignore all the letters.

thats pretty rude of them... they should at least show some respect for your interest

well they cant .. coz there are so many of rejections that from their side it becomes very vague , timeconsuming and also irritating to reply to each one who pursuess and feels he shud be reevaluated..

think from there side...thousands of appeals, thousands of continous emails and thus further discontent
