<p>Hi, I’m currently a junior in highschool and was wondering if I would have a chance at getting into any UC schools. Freshmen and sophomore years were horrible. I didn’t care at all and got a 2.8 gpa. I started caring this year and received a 3.9 last semester and a 4.1 this semester. I have a 31 on my ACT but am retaking it soon. I volunteer and do research at the Nebraska medical center. I plan on taking 4-5 AP classes next year. Would they let me apply even though my gpa doesn’t fit the requirements?

<p>Also, when I took the writing ACT, I had a 34 and an 8 for a combined 31 English/writing.</p>
