I'm a US soon to be high school senior who after spending a week at McGill for a summer program has fallen in love with the school, and I want to know how I stack up in terms of admission to the School of arts and sciences, or maybe engineering.

GPA (My school doesnt do out of 4.0):
~98 UnWeighted
~101 Weighted

SAT (Only taken once but will probably take again)
Reading 740
Math 710
Writing 680

Subject Tests (My weak point)
MathII: 730
Chem:750
US History: 740
MathI: 700
World History: 790

AP Scores (Do they consider them?)
4- AP World, 5- AP US ,5- AP Chem, 4- AP Comp Sci ,4- AP Lit

I also have myriad extracurricular activities and summer programs pertinent to my interests but as I understand it they only look at grades and scores, right? Is there even a place to put them on the application?

Also does their app have an essay, and if so how is it weighed in their consideration?

Nope, no essay. And I was similar to you GPA (98) and ACT (33) wise. I was actually a little lower with my subject tests (750 math and 690 English) but I was accepted to artsci. You should be fine!

McGill admission is entirely stats driven, ECs and essays only matter for getting in off the waitlist. Therefore you can generally predict whether you will be accepted just based on marks and test scores.

Here are McGill’s minimum admission standards for US applicants

It is a surprise to most American applicants that at McGill, and most other Canadian universities, your chances go from a safety to out of reach very quickly. For example, the minimum SAT for Life Sciences is 670 in each of the three sections of the SAT I and both SAT II’s. If you score say 690 (and your GPA is also a bit above the minumum) McGill is a safety. If you score 650 in each section, McGill is out of reach. The “gray area” of being a match is very small.
