Admission Chances - Direct Admit/Peitition Kelley School of Business

Hi All,
I am a junior Lexington Highschool MA ranked #36 out of 15,868 Public Highschool in the United States.

By the end of my senior year, my gpa should be around 3.64. (4/5 AP Classes)

ACT: 32 Superscore: 34 Writing : 9

President of Magic Club / Started successful fundraiser for College if Magic in Capetown SA

Team Leader at Lexington’s Youth Commisions

3 Years of Varsity debate at Lexington Highschool

Mentor at Diamond Debate After School Program

I am also considering Villanova Business School

I was wondering if I could get in as a Peition or Direct Admit.

If I you think I am a qualified applicant, I was wondering what other Business Schools besides Kelley you think I have a shot at!

Would really appreciate it if you can give me some insight!

I think you’ve got a decent shot. Some others out this way to look at are Miami of Ohio, Ohio State, and Case Western.

But you don’t have to travel this far to find a good undergraduate business school. Check out Boston College, Fordham, Penn State and more.

Thank You! I would apply to BC only if it didn’t require a 3.9 GPA :frowning: . My freshman year in high school I received 2 B+ and the rest of my classes were B’s. Ever since I have only kept my grades above A-. My freshman year kind of killed my GPA. Hopefully Kelley or the other schools I apply to, take notice of the upward trend.

My son got in to Hutton Honors College and direct admit to Kelley School of Business, he was deferred at Villanova. I believe his SAT score was 1390 and his ACT was 32, GPA is 4.11 when applied but now is 4.13. He also applied to BC regular decision, no answer yet.

I think that you wouldn’t have a problem getting in as a standard admit even if DA doesn’t work out!

I personally got into Kelley School of Business with a gpa of 3.219, SAT 1340, ACT 31. However, I do come from a private school in Hawaii, so I don’t know if that also factored into my admission decision. Might I add, I applied a month after the “competitive” applications were due.
