Hi! I am a current high school senior and I'm wondering what my chances are of getting into UCSD. Just so you guys know, I am an OOS student from Colorado.

Here's some info about me:
Weighted GPA: 4.489
Unweighted GPA: 3.822
ACT: 30
Class Rank: My school does not calculate class rank.

Extracurriculars:
Yearbook Ad Manager (1 year)
Yearbook Arts Editor (1 year)
YMCA Youth in Government House Representative (2 years)
Cross Country (3 years)
Sources of Strength Peer Leader (1 year)
Humane Society Volunteer (3 years)
National Honor Society Member (2 years)
Duke TIP Field Studies Institute (2 week summer field study)

Additional Credentials:
I have filed a U.S. Patent for a computer program I created.

What do you guys think my chances are? Thank you in advance for your feedback!

UCSD is a safe match. You have solid stats and EC’s.
Mine are pretty similar, maybe not quite as good in the EC’s, and UCSD is on my safety list.

Yopperpo- I didn’t apply to any other UC’s because none of the other UC schools offer bioinformatics as an undergraduate major. I realize now that I should have applied more widely in the UC because my major could very well change, but it’s too late to do anything about that now.

Thank you everyone for you feedback! I really appreciate it!

jisdude- I do not already have a patent, but it has been filed for consideration. The computer program is a pet and prospective adopter matchmaking system for my local Humane Society.

You have a good shot, but you never know! They favor California kids. Also did you file for your patent within a software or of your own software?

ok, ucsd got really competitive last year, a lot of my friends with 2200’s went to ucsd, but im from california so idk if its easier for u to get in. as long as ur sat is in high 2100’s i think ur fine
