I m an international applicant - I’m a good student, and my essays & LORs are really strong.
I have always been in the top 3 students of my class rank-wise. I go to a really competitive school.
My school doesn’t have an A.P or GPA system, but I’m taking the hardest course offered. I participate in many extra curriculars - I’m mentioning some of the important ones below…
I am the Head Girl of my school and a member of the school’s reputed basketball team. I am a keen writer and have had a book published this year!</p>
<p>Highest SAT 1 scores: Math: 720, C.R.: 710, Writing 750
SAT 2 scores: Lit. 690, Math 710
TOEFL: 117 (out of 120)</p>
<p>you should not be looking at bucknell with your stats and extracurriculars. I would honestly look at more respected schools. bucknell would be “settling” for you, since it is a mid-2nd-tier school. do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. if nothing else, the isolation of Lewisburg will stifle your interests…</p>
<p>How is Bucknell a “mid-2nd-tier-school”? It’s ranked as the 30th best school in this country, it may not be Ivy but there really isn’t much room higher on the “more respected school” list to go.
To OP: you have good stats and Bucknell is probably a solid match school for you, however as an international I would refrain from saying you’re in, especially if you require FA.</p>
