<p>Top 10% of class in a public high school that sends close to 90% of kids to 4 year college
3.7 Unweighted GPA (92), we do weighting strangely so I have like a 5.2
AP Calc So. (5), AP Phys B Jr. (5), AP Chem Jr. (5), AP Phys C Sr. (School only offers 6 AP's so 4 here isn't bad I don't think. I've been taking the most challenging courses in other areas)
Have taken independent study math courses with Stanford EPGY the past 2 years.</p>
<p>Not a lot of extracurriculars... Football Freshman/Soph, Math team Soph/Jr/Sr, will be volunteer coaching middle school intramural rec basketball in the town.

<p>Waived the right to see my recommendations but I go to a small school and know the teachers and counselor really well so all those recommendations should be good.</p>
<p>The real question is, how strongly does Duke consider extracurriculars? I'm a huge basketball fan and will probably doing statkeeping for the team this year, and I'm very involved with the team. Can those standardized test scores (SAT, ACT, AP) and decent class rank get me into Duke?</p>
