So I want to major in economics or finance, but I may also want to do premed. I basically have nothing be it classes, ecs, or anything relating to those two majors, therefore I feel like it will hurt my chances of getting in difficult schools. I wanted to know if applying for bio( and then later switching out) will better my chances. I got a 33 on the act science, took ap bio got a 92 and a 5 on the test, have 8 uconn credits for bio classes, am in the bio club, and took both bio e and m and got 690 on each. So what should I do?
Thanks for opinions

What kinds of colleges are you thinking of?

In many cases, if not most, except for some programs that have their own divisions within a university (such as nursing and sometimes engineering), it really doesn’t make any difference what you put down as your intended major. That is to say, if you’re in Arts & Sciences, it doesn’t matter in the admissions process whether you put economics or biology (or Classics or Italian or…).

I’m thinking of uconn, umd, bc, northeastern, villanova, Penn state, fordham, and udel
