If I take my senior year at Santa Barbara City College, instead of at my high school, how will colleges look at this? I had about a 4.0 Weighted my first two years. I want to apply to UCSB, UCLA, Pepperdine, Pomona...

Once you start going full-time to a California community college, the UCs give you two choices:

1- Apply as though you are going to be a freshman at the UC and meet all the requirements of freshmen, or

2 - Complete 60 units at the college and then apply based upon the college grades (no test scores need to be sent at all).

If you choose (1) above, the UCs will count the courses you took at the community if they are transferable courses (meaning numbered 1 - 99).

Taking the college courses during the senior year is usually preferable, since they show the UC that you can handle college level stuff. Based upon your 4.0 Weighted, you should be good at all of the UCs except UC Berkeley and UCLA anyway--and the college work (if it's all As) could give you the edge to get into those two schools also.
