admission chances?

<p>I'm applying regular decision and I was wondering how I compare to other applicants to ND</p>

<p>SATs- 760 math, 710 verbal, 720 writing; 12 on the essay
GPA-3.953 weighted in all honors and 6 APS through high school (completed AP English, U.S. History and Biology - 5s on all AP exams, currently taking AP Physics, Calculus and Economics)
around 10th percentile
SAT IIs- Biology 760, math 1 720, math 2 700
Athletics- U.S.A swim club 9-11, scholar athlete, CT swimming top 16 9-11, high school varsity swim team 9-12, MVP 10-11, Captain 11-12, All academic 9-11, All conference 11
Music- (1st trumpet) Jazz Band 9-11, Top Honors Choir 11, Honors Concert Jazz Band 12(touring europe in april) pep band, concert band, marching band, chorale 9-12
Academics- AP Scholar, Highest Honors every quarter 9-12, commended national merit scholar 97th percentile PSAT, recognized on CT latin exam
Community- Senator Student Gov't 10-11, Vice President Student Body 12, Altar Server 9 years at catholic church, youth group 9-11
job experience as lifeguard and trumpet instructor
4-year NROTC Scholarship to Notre Dame</p>

<p>pretty good. there's really quite a bit of luck involved with so many people applying with near identical stats. GOOD LUCK!</p>

<p>I have to agree with danbrenn--essay makes quite an impression on admissions, esp when there are so many applicants with similar stats. Good Luck!</p>
