<p>I didn’t get that message yet, even though my “Folder pulled committee read” was way back on December 23.</p>
<p>Now we’re all going to be hammering the CMU website to see if/when the committee completes us.</p>

<p>I’m guessing mine doesn’t say completed because they still haven’t received my mid-year report. Because of snow-storms, my counselor got around to sending them on Wednesday the 24th. It said folder pulled, committee read back in December, but I guess they are waiting for my semester grades. Thats probably a good thing too because my semester grades will really help my application.</p>

<p>I never got an application receipt with my ID # on it… I submitted via Common App. Should I call the undergrad admissions office and ask? Is there no other way to find out my application status if I don’t have an account set up (like no email saying what my decision was etc)?</p>

<p>An “Email Message” could have been sent by anyone regarding you. This could be a recommendation or something additional (research abstract, rogue rec, etc.)</p>

<p>I wanted to respond to the question of what the EMail Message Recieved might mean, in my son’s case, he sent them a letter explaining a blip in his grades last year due to his best friend’s medical emergency and his missing some school work to be with his friend in the hospital. It was a letter not an email, but the date corresponds to when we sent it in. It could be a stray letter or something that came in from a teacher or the school, I would not worry about it.</p>

<p>^ Yeah I sent them a fax to update my application cuz I won a new award, but it’s listed separately for mine… Hmmm interesting.</p>
