I am very interested in computer science/computer engineering I know multiple different programming languages, my issue is that computer science is located in the engineering school of most universities and when I look at there requirements I notice that they require physics, I did not take physics because it didn’t fit into my schedule. will my application be “thrown away” because of no physics. how can i get around this issue
Many CS programs are in the Arts and Sciences school or are free standing Schools of Computer Science.
But if physics is required, there is no way to “get around it”.
I don’t think it’s an issue at most schools but possibly yes at engineering schools. Sounds like you enjoy programming…that doesn’t require physics.
Did you take 4 years of science? That’s something selective schools want to see…and they do often want Bio/Chem/Physics, but less selective schools may not.
the sciences I have are living environment, chem, and earth science. I do not believe computer science counts as a science. so i have 3 sciences
