Compared to my counterparts in big cities, I have limited opportunities.</p>

<li><p>Will all the colleges in the Top 50 LACs list consider my background while reading my application? ( As claimed by their websites)
( Since I am an international student, they might not know if I hail from a small city or town or village, even though that information can easily be obtained by Googling).</p></li>
<li><p>Should I bother mentioning this in the Additional Information section of the Common App or will this sound like an excuse?</p></li>
