Admission decision

Does anyone know when financial aid info is supposed to be mailed?

For anyone who is interested, I was accepted with a 96.6 3-year average (strong upward trend) and 780M/740CR/780W.

My son is doing very well and is happy at Stevens. Calc was harder than he anticipated since he was all As in Calc Honors in HS but made the dean’s list with a 3.7 GPA. He joined several clubs and played an intramural sport in the fall. Stevens really support their students with free tutoring and review classes and the location can’t be better with an awesome view of the Empire State Building and Manhattan at night.

Anyone know when financial aid comes out

We were told to expect something this week.

Son got his acceptance letter today, but most likely he is not going to be attending Stevens. Good luck to those who were waitlisted.

@cinereous

When you find out about your scholarship offers, could you please post them? I have really similar stats so I’d be very interested in finding out.

mytwosons: why not attending?

Waitlisted.
1820 SATs
3.17 GPA
Rutgers engineering it is then.

So I’m going to out on a limb a say its bad thing if they just mailed my admissions l,?etter monday, correct? either waitlisted or flat out denied :(

2012parent NJ- I cannot justify spending 50+ thousand a year when we have Rutgers which gave him a very nice scholarship. Rutgers is ranked higher, more opportunities and classes to choose from, very diversified and not to mention that they have great sports which my son enjoys.
Stevens is great if you can afford it and having two kids in college, it gets tough. I hope his spot goes to somebody on the waitinglist.

Saunders76, my son didn’t get his response until this time last year and it was a yes…we didn’t get his aid numbers until mid month.

I just got my scholarship info (in New York). 26k/year!

I will most likely be attending Stevens. I’ll see everyone on April 22!

Well I just got the letter the otherday and I was put on the waitlist. Just one question, are you allowed to fax them the Stevens Waitlist sheet or does it have to be mailed?

S in VA accepted. Letter came March 31. Still waiting for FA package.
