<p>I didn't get accepted to Fall 2010, but I did get Freshmen Connection no big shocker</p>

I did not say that he should not post. I was stating that people need to look at the information a second time and not to jump to conclusions. The OP noticed his ‘mistake’ a couple of minutes of after he posted, but he could have easily checked an second time to be sure. Don’t get me wrong: a lot of people on this sub-forum are having jitters as the notification deadline approaches. Its plausible and can be accepted to a certain degree. That is my personal opinion.</p>

<p>Hey all, how about we stop posting on this thread? Lol. I can definitely attest to the fact that this thread causes people to get all antsy…when I first checked the UMD forum, I got rather tense upon seeing this. Then I read your responses, and was like, “oh…” Same initial reaction ten minutes later, even though I knew what was going on. Just seeing “admissions decisions are up!” is enough to render some people to a near heart-attack state…let’s not exacerbate this agonizing wait by bumping the thread and making it all the more conspicuous.</p>
<p>EDIT: Oh, and yes, I realize that I’m contradicting myself by posting here. But, this thread was already the first one displayed on the UMD forum…so no harm done, right?</p>

After high school is over and college begins, I’ll probably never come on here again. That’s what most posters do: stay for application help and leave once everything is over. </p>
<p>Also, I in no way see myself as an “owner”. I see myself who tries to provide information (and receive, I actually have asked questions on here before). I don’t even think there are any “owners” on this sub-forum, except for the mods and members who genuinely try to help others (me incl.) in this process (ex. Astro, BulletP). Just my take on this little ‘matter’…</p>
