No letter here for D19 #2 just checked the portal - and it just shows application status info, where my accepted daughter’s portal reads Welcome to Carolina. Looks like 1 yes and 1 no :frowning:

I got in today to the darla Moore school is buisness for marketing! My stats were a 1290 SAT and 4.0 weighted GPA! I’m a little worried because they didn’t mention any scholarship money, so let’s hope I get something! Should I be worried?

@yoa2001 Congrats! As for scholarship information, see below. I think your SAT may be a little low. Keep in mind that USC does not super score. (There is a different link for SC residents).

Still nothing in Georgia. This is making me crazy. Sure wish they would update everyone’s portal on the same day. Updated SAT score for DD posted today is the best yet w/only one missed question and I’m still sitting here worried about a silly envelope in the mailbox

The scholarships are based on both GPA and test scores. Not one or the other.

Has anyone received an deferred or denial letter ?

I called today and was told my daughter’s decision letter was mailed on the 12th. We are thinking it must be a deferral at this point. Hopefully it’ll arrive tomorrow and put the kid out of her misery. She graduates on Thursday (early grad) so wants to make a decision soon after & be settled. Unfortunately a deferral would mean she probably won’t wait around to see if her #1 choice takes her. :frowning:

It said minimum 40k. I think everyone who qualifies gets that in the letter, even the 4.0/35 ACT kids who apply. They send out actual offers in March iirc

Has anyone received rejections or deferrals this week?

I live in North Carolina and still haven’t received anything yet. I hate that they won’t update the portal. Many kids at my school have all received acceptances. I talked to an admissions counselor there and they said they sent all early action letters this week but due to weather and holiday mail there would be a little delay on receiving it.
