Has anyone in secondary review been accepted at this point?
Can someone change my daughter? She applied early action but was placed in second review. She is on the lower end for stats with a 3.55 GPA and 1180 SAT. However she has taken al honors throughout High school and 4 AP’s. She also has done many extra curriclers through high school. We toured USC last March and she fell in love.

We got the change with the empty box also. Our second review message is gone. Makes me nervous… but also excited! Fingers crossed for all of us!
I’ve had the question mark at the top of my portal for about a week now. I’m just wondering if this means anything? It sounds like a message appears there after the student receives a letter from USC, does that sound correct?
@collegevoice that sounds correct, admitted student’s see a congratulations header after they’ve been admitted, but I don’t know if they just pulled all the “second review” messages down and that’s all that’s happened. My son’s portal had the second review message up since early January, prior to that it was just the standard photo. Two days ago, the second review message was removed and in it’s place there’s a missing link, or a question mark. Does anyone still have their second review message up?
My daughters portal still shows the second review message with a tiny box with a question mark directly below it? Anyone know what this means?

@jilliansmith46 I wouldn’t assume that, my son’s second review message just came down and others came down a week or more ago. Maybe they’re taking them down as they do the second review? He hasn’t heard yes or no…

I’ll post here as soon as he gets his decision so we can try to figure out what it means when the 2nd review banner comes down. As of right now, the banner was up one minute and then gone, but he hasn’t received an acceptance or a rejection. He’s an average student at a great high school, applied ED.
Threeforthree, my son and yours seem similiar. We havent heard anything either since the second review notice just came down on Friday… I think it may just mean they are now reviewing …

Admissions counselor just told me acceptances , denials , and Gateway invites will all be sent out over the next three weeks . He also said the portal change is insignificant…
