admission decisions this week

I got CAP. I thought I had the credentials. Although I was top 16% when I submitted the app, I had a 2110 SAT, way too many AP classes taken, a bunch of ECs… Also, I applied for Natural Science.

I got into mccombs today

son got into College of Liberal Arts - in-state

Gee…would just like to get through to the *&^%& decision page. Got a feeling it is a rejection and sneaking suspicion that the rejections are the ones hitting the Bad Gateway.

UT Austin IT department…making the people who built the Obamacare website look good.

why do i see no students applying to cockrell

Cockrell school of Engineering - Accepted to Civil
In-state, top 12%, bam

Finally got through. Son was Capped.

Had a 2140 SAT with 800 on the MATH.

Was tops in his class at UT San Antonio as a high school senior in Honors Calculus I. Now tops in his class in Honors Calculus II…but homeschooled so not ranked.

Guess that is all that matters. A&M took him the first week he applied in September…so no thanks to the CAP.

Logged in finally. Out of state accepted into College of Natural Sciences for Computer Science.

Can someone clarify for me what being capped means?

@techsavvy basically you attend one of the universities in the UT System (UT San Antonio, UT Dallas) for one year and if you meet the requirements (<a href=“Coordinated Admission Program | Undergraduate Admissions | The University of Texas at Austin”>Coordinated Admission Program | Undergraduate Admissions | The University of Texas at Austin), you will then be able to continue your undergrad studies at UT Austin.

Basically rejected, but offered admission to utsa

After refreshing 30 tabs of <a href=“Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request”>Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request; , finally saw that I was accepted into CS at the College of Natural Science (OOS)

Congrats! Does everyone rejected get offered cap?

I’m going to say that everyone does get offered CAP, because my friend (who applied last year) got his app in late, was automatically rejected, but still got in through CAP 2 months ago (he was also OOS).

maybe the result comes out later for people who are rejected

I know a few instate people that got rejected yesterday

I WAS ACCEPTED. COLLEGE OF COMMUNICATIONS. TOP 20%. 1940 SAT. Great essays a

Instate**

Accepted OOS into Petroleum Engineering!!

Accepted international and in-state for physics. SAT 2120, top 27% and a 3.3 GPA. No leadership. Not much community service. I think my independent studies in physics got me in.
