admission decisions

Anyone know when Redlands typically sends our RD admission notices?

No, I don’t know. But…they are sent out on a rolling basis. I don’t believe they wait and send them all at once. My daughter was accepted and I have to say, they have been very personable and kind. They sent her an acceptance with a handwritten note, then 30 days later an award letter. Then, she received a phone call from Redlands just checking to see how it was going and if she had any questions. I called the financial aid office yesterday regarding the fafsa and they were very informative and lovely to talk to.

Thanks for the info. We felt the same way when we visited - so many people seemed very helpful and welcoming.

Accepted! Now we just wait to see what financial aid has to say.

Mdndad --Congratulations to your student. :). U of Redlands is v caring. We’ve been attending functions there since fall 04.

Mdndad, Yea for admission to Univ. of Redlands! Do you know if financial aid package comes in the mail or online? My daughter was admitted as well, but she never received a user name and passwd for the webadvisor. Just checkin’.

Mum - Don’t know how fin. aid notice comes, although above poster got hers through mail. Also have no way I know of to check anything online except admission status that still just says everything is complete.

Last year the financial aid package came in the mail. You should be receiving it any day now.

Thanks Kellie.

Thanks Kellie. I called the financial aid office just to ask how package was received…online or via regular mail. And…the answer is…Regular Mail. So…we will wait.

Accepted & attending!

Dear Hannaleiigh,
Congratulations, you made a great choice.

Received very disappointing financial aid package today - loans equivalent to EFC, and supposed to find another $20,000 on top of that. Anyone had any luck appealing with Redlands fin. aid office?

Different economy when son applied (2004). H was told they would be willing to negotiate during son’s interview. Fortunately we did not feel a need to appeal. Can’t hurt to call.
