Is it true that UCSB is releasing them March 9th?

As far as I know, admission decisions come out on the 19th for transfer students. Not sure about high school though.

Ya. I’m talking for freshmen admissions. On there official website it says the week of March 19th, but reading through some other threads it seems everyone came to a consensus of March 9th somehow. I was just wondering where they heard that date from.

Website for UCSB indicates:
Decisions Announced
Freshmen March 17-31
Transfers March 17-May 1

When I log on to the application portal it says:

"Thank you for your application to UC Santa Barbara for the fall term 2012.

Admission decisions will be presented on this UCSB “application status” website starting Monday, March 19, 2012, at 3 p.m. (Pacific Time).

The majority of freshman decisions will be released at that time. Transfer decisions will be announced starting then, with additional decisions placed on the site as evaluations are completed. All transfer decisions will be announced by May 1. "

I got an email from ucsb on february 1st stating that admission decisions would be released on march 21

Decisions are on the 19th
