Just wondering if anyone has heard from Redlands? DS submitted his application around Nov 10th. He got the log in to check admission status, but I was wondering when decisions might be arriving?

My kid’s app was complete on October 25th, but hasn’t gotten a decision. I think the login website still says decisions would be mailed approximately 3-4 weeks from when an application is complete. I checked that about a week ago.

Looking back, my son got his Redlands acceptance on Dec 7. He applied Early Action. He’s a junior there this year and is having a wonderful experience.

Good luck to this year’s applicants.

Thanks-- it could be arriving soon then. Glad to hear your son likes it there.

My son got his acceptance letter yesterday. It’s in a VERY thin, perfectly average looking envelope, so don’t be nervous if you see one like that in your mailbox!

Congrats to your son, Jane!

Nothing here yet-- I wonder if that’s a bad sign? I might drive myself crazy by the end of the month–haha. Maybe Monday-- I will look for a thin envelope

Did your son apply to Johnson Center? Mine did-- maybe it takes longer for that decision?

My son didn’t apply until around Thanksgiving and just a couple of days ago received his login info. I’m assuming he’ll hear back towards the end of December.

And every day we’re checking the mail looking for a thin envelope! Congrats to those with acceptance notices :).

Sent a PM to Jane-- but should have said congrats on here as well!

Congratulations to all who have already heard!

@idahomom: Thanks and No, my son did NOT apply to the Johnston Center. (He had a good reason for not doing so, as I recall, although I can’t remember what that was anymore!)

But that, indeed, might explain why his acceptance letter came a bit sooner than others.

In today with merit aid!

Congrats Anxious2013! Redlands is really good about merit aid, but you (or your student) do need to keep up your GPA.

Thanks! DK will make sure to keep up grades!

The thin Redlands envelope arrived in yesterday’s mail! S’s admittance letter stated he was admitted with the Presidential Scholarship and an Achievement Award. So happy for him!

Congratulations! That’s great! Is it looking like one of his top choices?

We are definitely going to the Accepted Student Day in April. DS just signed up yesterday. He said something strange happened when he hit submit-- it linked him to some Survey Monkey and was asking odd questions having nothing to do with Redlands or Accepted Student Day. He closed the survey-- and I am not sure what happened to his sign up. I guess I will have him check in a week or so. Anyone else see this?

I got my acceptance letter today. international student and submitted it mid-january. Achievement Award and a Presidential Scholar! Does anybody know if the Presidential scholar is the same as the presidential scholarship?
