Thank you! I already wrote an email
I’m just now sure when to send it
If I send it now… they haven’t even received enrollment deposits yet from accepted people :d
I need to think about the right time and the right tone
I’m pretty sure they’ll accept me if I state that i’m 100% positive about enrolling
Did you get in last year? :))

Accepted! I received the same letter as musicmad20 earlier this week
My stats are:

I was like reading the mail and
I am sorry that we are not able to offer you a place in the Class of 2017… and before I read at this time, but it is possible to receive further consideration for admission by accepting a place on our Wait List for International Students. I liked died and reincarnated back to myself when I read the entire sentence. :D

Hear back about my wait list status?
No, not yet. I’m worried about that.
Though they might receive loads of emails these days so we’d better wait.
It was by email.

Sorry, about any status. I haven’t heard back at all and was wondering what to check! And I would give it a few days for a response, sometimes their slow

Give few days. They are receiving and sending tons of emails probably and they just forgot you maybe haha
Don’t worry you’re not rejected
My friend got rejected and she already received her email ))
If they don’t send you an email in two-three days just email the admissions office

I’m international from Nepal. Got waitlisted
Accepted a place at the waitlist

I know this isn’t the chance section, but I’ve got good recos <teacher’s liked="" me=""> and pretty solid ECs. I’ve uploaded top writing samples onto my F&M page. Any idea if i might get selected from the waitlist?</teacher’s>

charlesmyboy - I am from Pakistan and still havnt heard about my decision. My friends applied RD. One had really good stats like 2180 SAT 1 and straight As in O and A level. Another had okayish SAT scores but a lot of extra stuff like a published book to his name. Both didn’t get in.

So from what I’m seeing, a lot of international students heard back, and some RD applicants already got denied or waitlisted. What do you think this means for those of us who haven’t heard anything yet? Maybe we survived the first round of eliminations and they are waiting to see if any of their top applicants enroll before they release our decisions?

I’m international as well
Much lower stats guys, much lower
SAT 1930(590R 650M 690W)
SAT II Biology M 660, World History 670
TOEFL 108(24R 27L 27S 30W)
GPA 9.3/10
but I have awesome supplemental essays and a personal essay, along with the short answer
Pretty nice recommendations and EC s
Job experience and photography supplement
I don’t think I stand a chance if I’m wait listed next to applicants with 2180 SATs

keep in mind that it’s normally a lot harder to get in as an international student. i just moved to america from france and, for example, i had a lot of friends applying to ivies last year and my friend who applied to Harvard was really scared about not getting in because they only accept about 120 international students.
even then, i wouldnt be too concerned; you never know what could happen.
i applied RD as well and im concerned that I havent heard back yet hahah
