Today my status finally changed to "...there will be a decision here when one is made." I've been hearing many different things about admission notifications--some say late October, others say not before November, and some say January. I've also heard that those with extremely high/low standardized scores hear first. Does anyone have any ideas when letters will be sent? Thanks.

^ I’m wondering the same thing.

If you look at the PSU admissions twitter page, they say that their rolling admission begins AFTER November 30th for University Park. So everyone who applies prior to Nov. 30th is considered equally.
My D applied September 1, and she’s had the same status as yours for about 6 weeks. They still told me not to expect a decision prior to December or January. I think a select few hear in November, branch campuses begin hearing in October…I don’t really understand it myself as I’ve seen others post decisions in November - but I think those are the really high stat people. So the very top and the very bottom may hear earlier - but those in the middle hear later…

where on the admissions page do you see if they received the SAT/ACT scores? The page just says its received the application and transcript.

forget it, I was accepted today!!!
