Update for me: they requested I send my mid year grades. I’m freaking out now
@annaleigh275 just checked and my status comment didn’t change, still reads what yours said previously. Did they email you fr your mid year grades or was there a notice online?
@2021NH There was a notice in my portal
“Your application has been reviewed and we need additional information before making a final decision. Click the ‘View your checklist’ link to the right to see what is needed. You are encouraged to submit required credentials as soon as possible or as soon as they are available so we can continue to review your application and give you a final admission decision.”
I’m pretty discouraged right now. My stats aren’t amazing but they aren’t bad either.
3.6 gpa and 25 on the act
My status just changed to “complete and being reviewed… decisions posted in real time.” I hope it works out for you!
@annaleigh275 I’m sure if your mid year grades are consistent or better it will work out but I know what you mean about being discouraged. I do wish I would have applied to all my schools earlier but it was hard since I was playing a fall & winter varsity sport
My SAT was stronger than my ACT so thats what I submitted, UW GPA 3.8
Keeping my fingers crossed for you, good thing you check the portal and noticed the request quickly
@2021NH thanks, I found out my W gpa went up to a 3.7 after this past semester so hopefully that will be good enough for them.
Hi @annaleigh275 @2021NH I have that same message and the prompting to send mid year grades. I’m wondering if you’ve heard back yet? I looked at other forums and some people from 2015 in similar situations said they received a “Be Lively” email this time of year followed by a rejection and then an offer of waitlist. I haven’t received that email either, have you? I’m worried by the lack of response especially since Boulder is a relatively easy school and my stats are almost identical to yours @annaleigh275 . Do you think it could be the diversity essays? I can’t think of anything else.
@avispas12 I received my acceptance Jan 18, @annaleigh275 got in too but after she submitted her mid year grades. I just visited Penn State this past weekend so just waiting on my FA from them to make my final decision.
Good Luck
Just got accepted! I’m quite excited as I love the atmosphere of this school…can’t wait to attend.
I applied as a transfer on Jan. 1 with a 3.9gpa and a solid high school transcript. Still haven’t gotten a decision and after emailing admissions I was told to keep waiting. Guessing they’re behind!
The University of Colorado will have a more competitive admissions cycle this year. More and more students are applying and the University will have to be more selective.
@avispas12 Sorry for the late respomse, I know by now you will know your decision. I was googling the same things as you and freaked myself out but in the end I was accepted. I feel that either this year there was a pool of really strong applicants or if they see you make improvements they just want to see if those continue. Otherwise I don’t know why they would have asked me to send in grades with my stats because they’re all within the mid-range.
